STATUE OF SHAM SHEELA STONE
This statue is made of Shyam Sheela stone. This statue is 4.24 feet high and 3 feet wide. Its weight is about 200 kg. This statue looks like a five-year-old child. It has a bow and arrow in its left hand and a blessing pose in its right hand, Surya, Swastika, Om, Gada, and Chakra are carved on the head of the statue, in the lower part of the statue there is a statue of Hanuman ji on one side and Garuda Dev on the other side, this statue also has figures of Lord Vishnu and his 10 incarnations.

There is a story about Kashi Vishwanath temple that one day Goddess Parvati asked Lord Shiva to take her to his home. Lord Shiva accepted Goddess Parvati's request and brought her to Kashi and established himself here in the form of Vishwanath-Jyotirlinga.
